Terms of Service

Last updated: June 14, 2026. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and purchases from the See-Hear online store ("Store"), operated by See-Hear ("we", "us"). By using the Store or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Store.

Eligibility

You must be the age of majority in your province or state of residence to purchase. By ordering, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you are authorized to use the payment method.

Products, pricing, and availability

Prices are listed in Canadian dollars (CAD) and exclude taxes and shipping unless stated otherwise. We may correct errors and change prices, descriptions, and availability at any time. We make reasonable efforts to display products and finishes accurately, though actual appearance may vary slightly.

Orders and acceptance

Your order is an offer to purchase. We may accept or decline any order, in whole or in part, and may limit quantities. A charge or confirmation does not guarantee acceptance. If we cannot fulfill an order, we will notify you and refund the affected items.

Custom and prescription orders

Prescription lenses and other made-to-order or personalized items are produced to your specification. You are responsible for the accuracy of any prescription or configuration details you provide. Custom and prescription items are final sale except where defective or produced in error by us, as described in our Refund and Return Policy.

Limited warranty

See-Hear products include a limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. The warranty period and the specific treatment of batteries and other electronic and consumable components are set out in the warranty documentation provided with your product or available on request. The warranty does not cover damage from misuse, accident, unauthorized modification or repair, normal wear, or loss. To the fullest extent permitted by law, this limited warranty is in place of all other warranties. (Final warranty term to be confirmed before launch.)

Product information and intended use

See-Hear products are consumer audio eyewear designed to support conversational clarity and listening comfort in everyday environments. They are not medical devices, are not hearing aids, and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, mitigate, or prevent any disease, injury, or condition, including hearing loss. They are not a substitute for a professional hearing evaluation or medical advice. If you have concerns about your hearing or health, consult a qualified health professional. You are responsible for using the products safely and should not rely on them in situations where full environmental awareness is required for safety.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, See-Hear and its suppliers are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Store or products. Our total liability for any claim relating to a product is limited to the amount you paid for that product. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless See-Hear from claims arising out of your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the products or Store.

Intellectual property

All content on the Store, including the See-Hear name, logos, text, and images, is owned by or licensed to us and may not be used without our permission.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, without regard to conflict of laws rules. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Alberta, Canada.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version posted at the time of your order applies to that order.
