Return and Refund Policy

Last updated: June 14, 2026. This policy applies to purchases of See-Hear products ("we", "us", "See-Hear"). Questions: don@see-hear.ca.

Return window

You may request a return of eligible items within 30 days of delivery. To be eligible, items must be unworn, in like-new condition, with all original packaging, accessories, charging components, and documentation included.

Items that are not returnable

  • Prescription lenses. Lenses made to your prescription are custom manufactured and cannot be returned or refunded except where they arrive defective or were produced in error by us. Frames purchased without prescription lenses follow the standard return window above.
  • Custom or personalized orders. Items configured or personalized to your specification are final sale unless defective.
  • Items showing wear or damage or with missing components, and any item marked final sale at checkout.

Defective, damaged, or incorrect items

Please inspect your order on arrival. If an item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact us within 7 days of delivery with your order number and photos. We will arrange a replacement, repair, or refund at no cost to you, including return shipping. Electronic function issues that appear after this period may be covered under the product warranty described in our Terms of Service.

How to start a return

Email don@see-hear.ca with your order number and the reason for return. Please do not ship items back before receiving a return authorization and instructions. Returns sent without authorization may be refused.

Return shipping

For change-of-mind returns, you are responsible for return shipping and for the item until it reaches us, so we recommend a tracked, insured method. For defective, damaged, or incorrect items, or an error on our part, we cover return shipping.

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you of approval. Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method, typically within 5 to 10 business days, less any non-refundable items (such as prescription lenses) and any original shipping charges where applicable. Your bank or card issuer may take additional time to post the refund.

Exchanges

For a different frame or finish, the fastest path is to return the eligible item and place a new order.

Warranty

See-Hear products include a limited warranty covering manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. Warranty coverage, duration, and the handling of batteries and electronic components are described in our Terms of Service and in the documentation provided with your product. Warranty claims are separate from the change-of-mind returns described above.

See-Hear products are consumer audio eyewear. They are not medical devices, are not hearing aids, and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, mitigate, or prevent any disease or condition, including hearing loss. See our Terms of Service for full details.
